We had the loveliest time here tonight. Food was exquisite, service was equally as good. Both wait staff people were really professional, but interactive. Every minute was a treat.

Le Gout du Jour

Simple, but tasteful, little restaurant, very quiet as it was Sunday night. My wife is from California so misses good Japanese food. She was really delighted with everything and her entire meal with two glasses of wine cost the same as just the wine in LA. Absolutely charming people. Loved it.

This was by far the best restaurant we went to in our trip in Europe. The food was delicious, exquisite, the staff friendly and caring, we even made friends with the people at the table next to was since everything was so delicious and we ended up engaging in a conversation regarding wonderful opportunities to meet around a table. Not to be missed!!

Overall, very good dining experience.  At first, service was slow to respond and seemed overwhelmed with other tables.  I had to seek out someone to just bring us water after ~ 15 minutes.  From then on, service was well-paced.  Food was excellently prepared and very creative.  Some of the table that had the tomato for dessert did not care for it, but the idea and presentation was very interesting.

The food was well prepared. They have a small but good variety on the menu. I read a couple negative reviews but truly, this small tucked away restaurant that has classical music in the background is a gem. Nice wine selection as well.

A family group of four. We all enjoyed the lunch special menu. All the courses are delicious.  The dessert was extra special.  Convenient location, nice dining room and delicious food.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch at this very pleasant restaurant. The food was excellent and the service was very good and efficient.  We will return on our next visit to Avignon. We highly recommend this restaurant.

I thoroughly enjoyed driving at La Gout du Jour.  its my first Michelin recommended dinner and it impressed me with excellent food, professional service in English and unpretentious elegant ambiance.  Be sure to reserve though several couples walked in on a Sunday night.  My hotel recommended La Gout with great success.  There were several amuse bouche that delighted me and the courses were imaginative and delicious.  Don&rsquo;t miss on the double lobster dish!  You can order ala carte but the best value is the four or five course menu.   I loved this place and certainly would go again.

Maxim was an amazing guide through food and wine, a tireless worker full of good suggestions providing great service. Delicious food, expansive wine list and lovely dining room that was not cramped like so many places.  A great dining experience and value made all the better by waiter Maxim&hellip;
